Shinichi Tomita (Founder and CEO)

Shinichi brings a wealth of experience to his roll as Founder and CEO of mashmarix.  Prior to founding mashamtrix, Shinichi spent several years as an evangelist for the developers at salesforce.com in Japan. Before Salesforce.com, Shinichi was elected and funded by Japanese government's grant program (MITO software) as one of the most promising software creators in Japan. Previously, he did technical marketing and served as a consultant at the Oracle Corporation, Japan.

Shinichi holds a Master of Science in information science from University of Tokyo, Japan.

 

Hiroyuki Onishi (COO)

Hiroyuki brings both technical expertise and a strong management background to his roll as Chief Operating Officer at mashmatrix.  Before joining mashmatrix, Hiroyuki was a management consultant at ABeam (formerly Deloitte Touche Consulting Japan). Prior to that, he was a technology consultant at Yahoo!, after serving in a similar capacity at the Oracle Corporation, Japan.

Hiroyuki holds a Bachelor of Arts in law from Chuo University, Japan.

 

Shinji Nagasaki (Director)

Shinji brings a wide breadth of knowledge both in financial and corporate planning, with his former experience of fund raising and M&A operation in a mobile business company in Japan. Previously, he worked at a TSE-listed consulting firm and had an experience of creating SMEs' business plan and helping them start up new business. During his career with the consulting firm, he involved establishment of its new subsidiary company and worked as an operating officer.

Shinji studied at Yokohama National University in Japan.

 

Jeffrey Char (Director)

Jeff is a serial entrepreneur and president of J-Seed Ventures, Inc., a Tokyo-based venture incubator. His past successes include Sozon, an online marketing company sold to ValueCommerce (Mothers: 2491), Solis, a domain registrar sold to GMO Internet (TSE: 9449), SSK Technology, an electronics component company sold to Suzuki Manufacturing, and Pario Software, a network security company sold to Lucent Technologies (currently Alcatel-Lucent, NYSE: ALU). Jeff’s experience with start-up companies also includes earlier careers as a corporate attorney, venture capitalist and investment banker.

Jeff studied economics at Sophia University in Tokyo and law at the University of California, Berkeley and Harvard Law School.

 

Ken Marshall (Managing Director of North America)

Ken comes from Deloitte Consulting’s Emerging Solutions practice, focused on educating Deloitte clients about Salesforce.com and implementing CRM solutions. Prior to Deloitte, Ken helped establish the Salesforce.com Practice at Accenture. Previously, he was the chief executive of Sempire Systems, an enterprise software company focused on corporate governance and strategic risk management.

Ken holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of California, Davis.
